Bloomsburg University Special Organization License Plates

PennDOT recently gave all participants in its Specialty Plate Program the opportunity to redesign their organization's license plate using the latest graphics technology. We have taken advantage of this exciting opportunity to redesign the Bloomsburg plate to feature our new Husky logo. It will be reproduced in color just as it appears on the various logo items sold in the University Store. The logo and other wording will be printed on the plate; only the license number will be stamped.

You may request an application by sending an email to alum@bloomu.edu or by calling 800-526-0254. The new design plates are available for a one-time cost of $32.50, which will enable us to pay the PennDOT fee, as well as recover the design and production costs.

If you already have a BU license plate, you have a few options:

1. You may purchase a new design plate now by contacting the Alumni Office for an application. 2. If you have an old Husky plate, you may keep your same plate number if you submit your application by November 30, 2004 . You may buy a new design plate at any time in the future, but you will not be able to keep your old number unless you order by the deadline. 3. You may keep the plate you have until the next time PennDOT re-designs all license plates.

We think everyone will be impressed by the new design license plates, and we can't wait to see them on the highway! (By the way, not only are we the first of the 14 State System universities to get our new plate into production, we're the first organization in the state!)
